Volunteers in this program will conduct an accelerated English orientation course for students newly entering secondary school (Form I). Secondary schools in Tanzania are taught in English, yet the students know little to none of their language of instruction. As a result, English language ability is key to students' success and comprehension in all school subjects. There will also be opportunities available to teach Math and Physics at the Secondary Level following the Tanzanian government syllabus, should applicants be qualified.
